Ranieri Numismatics was founded in Ravenna in 1979. The company was founded by Egidio Ranieri and Augusto Dragoni, building on the experience and passion of their respective owners. Over the years, the firm has consistently stood out for its professionalism and experience, both nationally and internationally, successfully serving numerous clients in Italy and around the world.

In 2003, Numismatica Ranieri opened its headquarters in Bologna, where, in addition to its regular coin and medal trading activities, it also operates as an auction house, holding two or more auctions per year, as well as buying and selling investment gold coins, authorized by the Bank of Italy (No. 5002449).

On this page, you can find all the information about the numismatic auctions we organize (in-store, mail-order, and online), the direct purchase and sale of coins, medals, and investment gold, as well as expert appraisal services for the division of estates.

We are always looking for valuable materials to purchase privately, or to include in our future auctions.

Coins, medals, and investment gold represent unique product categories that require experience, professionalism, and trust to handle.

Thanks to our decades of experience, we can guide you through the world of numismatics. When consigning items to one of our auctions, we act as effective intermediaries for our collector-buyers worldwide. We ensure the items offered are showcased to the fullest through a scientific cataloging system updated to the most recent and authoritative texts in the field, state-of-the-art photography, and layouts that highlight the quality and beauty of the items offered.

We also kindly remind you that in every transaction we guarantee the authenticity of what we offer, without time limits and in accordance with the standards established by the International Association of Professional Numismatists (of which Numismatica Ranieri is a member).

Since we are passionate about coins and understand the love that is the foundation of numismatic collecting, we have chosen to continue and share our passion, serving our customers with professionalism and transparency.
